MEET CHARISMA
Our church name "CHARISMA" conveys our distinct brand as a church, based on the Greek words:
CHARA, which means "joy" (Gal. 5:22) signifies our celebration atmosphere of worship.
CHARIS, which means "grace" (Eph. 2:8-9; 1 Cor. 15:10) focuses on our total dependence on God's grace.
CHARISMA, which means "spiritual gift" (1 Cor. 12:4-11; Rom. 2:6-8; Ephesians 4:7-13) affirms our gift-based ministries.
Charisma is a multi ethnic church for all nations (Rev. 5:9)
Charisma 's ultimate purpose: to glorify God in whatever we do (1 Cor. 10:31)
Charisma's two fold emphasis: prayer and ministry of the Word (Acts 6:3-4)
Charisma offers hope: no matter who you are, where you've been, and whatever you have done, Christ can give you a brand new life, peace, joy, purpose, meaning and significance (2 Cor. 5:17)
